E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1 Docket Number 50-244
Dear Dr. Murley:
Transmitted herewith and in accordance with 50.54 of 10CFR Part 50 is Revision 10 to the Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation.
This revision incorporates changes to the corporate and Engineering Department organization charts due to the re-establishment of the Chief Engineer position below the Vice President position.
Elevating the administrative link of the Manager, Quality Assurance from an Assistant Chief Engineer to the Vice President, Engineering and Construction was also accomplished.
This change which enhanced Quality Assurance independence from Engineering quality assurance activities, had no effect on the established reporting relationship of the Manager, Quality Assurance to the Vice President, Electric and Steam Production.
These changes have been previously submitted as a change to Technical Specifications.
Also included are some editorial changes which will clarify the comments identified in the NRC review of the Revision 9 submittal.
These changes do not reduce any of our previous commitments.
