BRANCH Public Service Company of New Hampshire, et al. Docket Nos. 50-443 OL 50-444 OL (Seabrook Station, Units 1 & 2) OFFSITE EMERGENCY PLANNING NEW ENGLAND COALITION ON NUCLEAR POLLUTION'S MOTION FOR LEAVE TO FILE OUT OF TIME On September 25, 1986, Applicants filed a motion for a decison on pending summary disposition motions and for the estab-lishment of a hearing schedule on New Hampshire emergency plan-ning issues. Counsel for the New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution did not receive the motion, and did not become aware that it had been filed until she received SAPL's response on Oc-tober 9, 1986. Counsel for NECNP immediately attempted to obtain a copy from the NRC's Public Document Room, which did yet have the document. SAPL agreed to provide a copy, which arrived in today's mail.

Under NRC rules of practice, the deadline for filing a response to Applicants'otion was Friday, October 10, 1986. In consideration of the fact that NECNP was unaware of the existence of the motion until October 9, 1986, and in consideration of NECNP's diligent attempts to respond promptly to the motion, NECNP respectfully seeks the Board's permission to file the ac-companying response two business days late. In order to facili-tate the consideration of NECNP's response, it is being served on 8610210082 861015 PDR ADDCN 05000443 G PDR OSo>
