Inservice Inspection Program for the 1980 to 1989 Interval R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Crutchfield:
By letter dated July 2,
- 1979, and in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR Section 50.55a paragraph (g),
we submitted the "Ginna Station Inservice Inspection Program for the 1980-1989 Interval."
That program has been implemented.
In order to permit the installation of a maximum of ten test sleeves in steam generator tubes which would otherwise require
- plugging, changes have been incorporated into Paragraphs 5.7.1.1 and 6.5.
These changes permit sleeving instead of plugging of tubes with unacceptable defects.
This change has been reviewed by the Plant Operation Review Committee and the Nuclear Safety Audit and Review Board and found not to involve an unreviewed safety question or require a Technical Specification change.
