Subject:
Degraded Grid Voltage, Generic Review
Dear Mr. Crutchfield:
In response to your August 11, 1980 request for additional information the following is provided for your use in completing your generic study.
All low-volta'ge, 125 volt, AC Class IE buses at. Ginna Station are supplied from either an uninterruptable power source (UPS) or from regulated 480/125 volt transformers.
Thus these 125V IE buses are not susceptible to variations in offsite source voltage levels.
In this way the reguirements of GDC-13 are met.
The instrumentation and/or controls supplied by these IE buses will perform over their anticipated ranges during the offsite voltage ranges established in our December 6,
1979 report.
For this
- reason, the 125 volt Class busses were not modeled in the Ginna interactive load flow program and no calculations were performed on this system.
Sincerely, L. D. Whi e, Jr.
