IE Bulletin 79-17 Revision 1 Response - results of additional welds inspected R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 41 Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Grier:
On November 26, 1979 Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation pro-vided an initial response to Revision 1 of the subject I&KBulletin 79-17, which indicated that an additional seven (7) welds would require examina-tion.
These welds are located on our Charging and Safety Injection systems, and we indicated they would be examined during our 1980 Refueling Outage.
This letter is to confirm that these seven welds have been examined in accordance with the requirements of Item 2B of I&E Bulletin 79-17, Revi-sion 1.
The following is a listing of the welds examined and the examina-tion results:

DATE April 25, l980 To Mr. Boyce H. Grier, Director SHEET NO. 2 The indication identified on weld 4-SI-2003-29 was repaired in accordance with our Emergency Maintenance procedures and reexamined with no indications.
This particular indication does not indicate the sub-ject weld or adjacent base metal has undergone any stress corrosion cracking attack.
