Emergency Plan upgrading R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.
1 Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Ziemann:
In response to Mr. Darrell Eisenhut's letter of October 10, 1979 we enclose a copy of the latest revision of our Radiation Emergency Plan, and copies of the New York State Emergency Plan for Radiation Accidents (revised September 1977), New York State Bureau of Radiological Health Specific Operating Procedure for the Ginna Site, and Wayne County Response Plan for Emergency Radiation Incidents (revised November 1977).
Also included is a block diagram showing the interfaces between the onsite functional areas of emergency activity and off-site support organiza-tions.
The location and roles of the on-site Technical Support Center and the on-site Operational Support Center were provided in our response to TMI lessons learned-work completed January 1, 1980.
These centers have been incorporated in our implementing procedures for the Radiation Emergency Plan.
As of this date we have not had a NRR review team site visit. If, as a result of their visit or other NRC inspections and/or requirements, additional changes are necessary to our plans such changes willbe made.
Also, if changes to the New York State or Wayne County plans are found necessary in light of new criteria, we willwork with them to revise their plans and ours so they remain compatible.
Very truly yours,
,8 gy@
