Dear Mr. Grier:

In accordance with the requirements of our Technical Specifications 6.9.3.b, attached is the semiannual report of radioactive effluent from Ginna Station for the period January through June, 1979. These include the liquid and airborne effluent tables and a tabulation of shipments of solid waste.

1 During this six nanth period 146.024 curies of noble gasses and 41.127 curies of tritium were released thxough the plant vents. In the liquid waste .04904 curies of beta gamma activity and 97.593 curies of tritium were released.

The solid waste shipped included 219.23 curies of activity in 64,152 cu. ft.

One additional copy of this letter and attachment are enclosed.
