Dear Mr. Grier:
In response to the subject Bulletins which required information on the Ginna Station reactor vessel from the manufacturer by May 1, 1979 and the licensees by May 29, we find we are unable to submit this information within the allotted time, and request an extension.
The reason for this is that Westinghouse Electric Corporation, our contractor, requires more time to accumulate the required information.
The information is expected to be available by August 1, 1979.
