Dear Mr. Ziemann:
Revision 6 to Supplement IV of the Full-Term License Application for the R.
E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant is being prepared to provide the additional information, regarding Revision 5, requested by your letter of June 5,
1979.
How-
- ever, Revision 6 will exclude, as in the previous revisions, Regulatory Guide 1.94 in the listing of NRC Regulatory Guides and quality assurance ANSI Standards.
Rochester Gas Electric has never committed to Regulatory Guide 1.94 or the related ANSI Standard N45.2.5.
The extent of the Re-vision 5 listing, on pages 3 and 4, was consistent with the accompanying Amendment 9 stated purposes which included a commitment to "endorsement of NRC Regulatory Guides and quality assurance ANSI Standards to which the program conforms."
Submittal of Revision 6 is expected in early July.
