to Item 13 of IE Bulletins79-06A and 79-06A, Revision I entitled "Review of operational errors and system misalignments identified during the Three Mile Island Incident. "
R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 41 Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Grier:
This is in reply to Inspection and Enforcement Bulletins79-06A and 79-06A, Revision I, Item 13 concerning any proposal to change Plant Technical Specifications and any design changes as a result of implementation of the other items in these bulletins.
No Technical Specification changes are required at this time as a result of items identified in our responses to the above bulletin.
- However, we are currently investigating a modification to the safety injection logic which would initiate safety injection on a two out of three (2/3) low pressurizer pressure signal.
This willrequire changing Technical Specification table 3.5-2 Item 1.d.
A change willbe requested when the design and safety evaluation are prepared.
Very truly yours, L. D. Wh e, jr.
