Dear Mr. Ziemann:
Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation, with the cooperation of the other owners of Westinghouse 2 loop plants, has been working with our fuel vendors to develop computer models which reflect Upper Plenum Injection (UPI) of emergency core cooling water.
We were prepared to discuss the model developed by Westinghouse on June 12, 1979 but were told that a meeting could not take place until July 1979.
Please notify us of a convenient date for a meeting with the staff so that further model development may proceed.
