Dear Mr. Andersen:

By letter dated February 10, 2015 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)

Accession No. ML17046A650), the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 1 submitted, on behalf of the nuclear energy industry, NEI 13-10, Cyber Security Control Assessments, Revision 5, dated February 2017, for U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and endorsement (ADAMS Accession No. ML17046A658).

Subsequently, by letter dated July 21, 2017, the NRC provided written comments resulting from the review of NEI 13-10, Revision 5 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17179A266).

The attached NEI 13-10, Revision 6, addresses the comments provided in your July 21, 2017 letter. NEI requests that the NRC review and endorse NEI 13-10, Revision 6, dated August 2017, by September 1, 2017. If any revisions to this document are desired, please include suggested wording and the technical data to support the proposed change(s).
