NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-335/98-12 AND
50-389/98-12
Dear Mr. Plunkett:
On January 23, 1999, the NRC completed an inspection at your St. Lucie 1 and 2 reactor
facilities. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
During the inspection period, operations and maintenance activities were professionally
conducted.
Chemistry and security activities were executed well and supported safe plant
operations.
During the inspection period, the NRC received a response dated February 4, 1999, to Notice
of Violation 50-335, 389/98-11-01.
We have evaluated your response and found that it meets
the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201. We willexamine the implementation of your corrective
actions during future inspections.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosures willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
