Dear Mr. Stall:
Thank you for agreeing to participate on the Regulatory Information Conference panel on Allegations and Employee Concerns.
As I explained during our telephone conversation, the general theme of the panel is the use of statistics on allegations received by the NRC in analyzing work environments at licensee facilities.
I willpresent information on how the NRC performs the analysis and uses the results.
As we discussed, I would like you to provide your perspective as a licensee being on the receiving end of such an analysis and NRC's subsequent actions.
I have enclosed a copy of the 1997 Annual Report on the status of NRC's Allegation Program for your information. The report includes a general discussion of the NRC's review of
-allegation data and a discussion of allegation data specifically for St. Lucie.
I hope you find this information useful in preparing for the panel.
Sincerely,
/~/
