Gentlemen:
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory
Commission
(NRC) administered
examinations
conducted
during the period of March 11-28,
1996.
The
examinations
were administered to employees of your company
who had applied
for licenses to operate
the Saint Lucie Plant Units
1 and 2.
At the
conclusion of the examination,
the examinations
and preliminary findings were
discussed
with those
members of your staff identified in the
NRC Examination
Report,
Enclosure
1.
A Simulator Facility Report is included in this report
as Enclosure
2.
A copy
of the written examination questions
and answer
key,
as noted in Enclosure 3,
was provided to members of your training staff at the conclusion of the
examination.
The facility provided
no post
comments
regarding the written
examination.
In October
1995,
one candidate
from your facility participated
in and passed
the Generic
Fundamentals
Examination.
In accordance
with 10
CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of
