This letter confirms the conversation between Hr. J. Scarola of your staff and Hr.

R. Prevatte, of the NRC on August 29,

1995, concerning a predecisional enforcement conference requested by us which has been scheduled for September 25, 1995, at 10:00 a.m.

The purpose of this conference is to discuss apparent violations regarding an August 8,

1995, event involving inoperable Unit 1

PORVs due to maintenance error/testing inadequacy.

The location of the conference will be at the NRC Region II office, 101 Marietta

Street, N.W., Suite 2900, Atlanta, Georgia.

This meeting is a closed meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994) 59 FR 48340).
