Dear Hr. Goldberg:
By letter dated March 2, 1995, Florida Power 8t Light Company (FPL) requested NRC approval of the evaluation of flaw indications and the subsequent in-service-inspection (ISI) examination plan for the Unit 2 pressurizer instrument nozzle welds.
These indications were originally identified during the 1994 refueling outage.
Approval of the current submittal is requested by FPL to support the next refueling outage scheduled for September 1995.
During the review of your request, the staff determined that it needs additional information identified in Enclosure 1.
We request that you provide the identified information within 30 days of receipt of this letter.
The enclosure to this letter should be, controlled and distribution limited to personnel with a "need to know."
The enclosure is considered exempt from Public Disclosure in accordance with Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2.790.
- However, a copy of this letter excluding the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document room.
This requirement affects one respondent and, therefore, is not subject to Office of Management and Budget Review under P.L.96-511.
