Summary of Changes for St. Lucie Unit 1 In Service Testing Program Revision 5
The introduction has been revised to reference the NRC approval to the use of ASME/ANSI OM-1987, Part 1 requirements as an alternative to ASME Section XI, 1983 Edition, Subsection IWV-3510 requirements for testing of safety and relief valves.
The approval is included in the NRC Safety Evaluation of St.
Lucie Unit 1 In Service Testing Program Relief Requests dated September 27, 1994.
Revised relief request PR-12, which was approved by NRC Safety Evaluation dated August 5,
1994 has been incorporated into this revision.
The approval sections of relief requests PR-5, VR-29, VR-30, VR-39, VR-40, and VR-41, have been revised to incorporate approval of these relief requests which was documented in NRC Safety Evaluation dated September 27, 1994.
Relief requests VR-12 and VR-13 have been revised to denote that full stroke verification of the check valves be performed utilizing non-intrusive test methods in accordance with Generic Letter 89-04.
