St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket No. 50-335 Generic Letter 89-10 Com letion The purpose of this letter is to notify the NRC that Florida Power
& Light Company (FPL) St. Lucie Plant completed the design bases verification of safety-related motor operated valves (MOV) on St.
Lucie Unit 1 during the Fall 1994 refueling outage.
This includes the committed design and test activities to establish design assurance of the existing capability of MOVs to perform their safety-related functions under design basis conditions.
Documentation of program completion is available for on site review by the NRC or for submittal to assist the NRC in closing this issue for Unit 1.
