1992, you applied for an amendment to the St.

Lucie Unit 1 Operating License No. DPR-67.

The proposed change would have revised Technical Specification 3.3. 1. 1, Reactor Protective Instrumentation, to modify the action statement requirements for the High Rate of Change in Power trip.

Subsequently, by letter dated June 21,

1994, you withdrew the amendment request.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
