  • Identification of the firm constructing the facility or supplying the basic component which fails to comply or contains a defect.

These commercial grade items were not properly dedicated. Due to actions taken there is no safety hazard created.

These components are intended to be used as replacement parts in the Containment Air Radiation Monitoring System, RM-050/051/062, Fort Calhoun Nuclear Station, Omaha Public Power District PAGE 1 of2 CANBERRA

OPPD FTC isolated the parts after notification CANBERRA performed a thorough review of the dedications and provided all available part, testing and QA records to OPPD FTC for their review.

OPPD FTC reviewed and approved the dedications.

CANBERRA revised its CGDP process for dedications so this type of deficiency will not recur.

  • Any advice related to the defect or failure to comply about the facility, activity, or basic component that has been, is being, or will be given to purchasers or licensees.

No additional advice is provided.

  • In the case of an early site permit, the entities to which an early site permit was transferred.
