aware, the U.S.

Government Department of Commerce Bureau of the Census has released 1990 census data'hich 'should be available in your area.'n, addition to general census data there may be available local population growth projections.

A regional survey indicates a

number of facilities have not as yet incorporated updated local population data into their Emergency Plans or updated their offsite evacuation times as appropriate

-to changes in population.

If you have not already done so, you are encouraged to use these population studies to update your Emergency Plan and offsite evacuation times associated with the zones within the ten mile Emergency Preparedness Zone.
