An Application for Amendment to the above operating licenses to revise the A.C.
Distribution Operating specification to more closely conform with the wording contained in the Standard Technical Specifications.
This proposed change adds the requirement that, the 120 volt A.C. Vital Busses be energized from the inverters connected to their associated D.C. Busses.
The present.
8-hour Action Statement for an inoperable Vital Bus would be changed to a 2-hour Action Statement for a de-energized A.C.
Vital Bus and a
24-hour Action Statement for an inoperable inverter.
This proposed Amendment is consistent with the final resolution on A.C.
Vital Bus operability requirements discussed during a
conference call conducted on January 25, 1990 between Duquesne Light Company and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

B and C which set forth the change in the Technical Specifications, the safety analysis and the no significant hazards evaluation.
This proposed change was reviewed by the OSC and ORC and determined to be safe and does not involve an unreviewed safety question.
