has issued Amendment Ho.
1 to Facility Operating Licene No. NPF-16, issued to Florida Power 8 Light Company, Orlando Utilities Commission of the City of Orlando and Florida Hunicipal Power Agency (licensees) for the St.
Lucie Plant, Unit 2 (facility) located at the licensees'ite on Hutchinson Island in St. Lucie County, Florida.
This amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
Amendment No.
1 changes the channel functional test surveillance require-ments for the Mide Range Logarithmic Neutron Flux flonitor. The preparation of detector plateau
- curves, which are presently required, cannot be accomplished and are not needed with the installed equipment.
Issuance of the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended
( the Act), and the Commission's 1
regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
