SUBJECT:
MEETING SUH(4ARY - RADIATION PROFILE On April 6, 19S3 a meeting was held in Bethesda, Maryland to discuss staff requirements concerning radiation profiles.
The information re-quired is necessary to close out the Accident Evaluation Branch review of the equipment qualification task.
A list of attendees is attached.
Ebasco representatives began the meeting by referring to a back up report that formed the basis of the FP&L October 1981 response to a NRC request for additional information.
This report contains hand calculations, assumptions, and bases for the conclusions reached in the October 1981 submittal.
The type of information contained in the report appears to be what is needed by the AEB staff to complete its review.
It was empha-sized that the entire report is not needed, only selected extracts.
After a brief discussion of the back up report, Ebasco provided a copy of Appendix D of the St. Lucie 2 equipment qualification report and guide book.
The staff, after reviewing this document, indicated to FP8L that a
similar submittal for Unit 1 would likely fulfillthe staff's needs, FP&L and its consultant (Ebasco) agreed to provide such a document that wi 11 highlight any unusual considerations.
Ebasco agreed to prIovide input to FP&L within two weeks and FP&L agreed to submit the information to NRC within one to two weeks of receipt, A schedule for the submittal to NRC
