St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket No. 50-335 Proposed License Amendment Linear Heat Rate Technical S ecification In accordance with 10 CFR 50.30, Florida Power

& Light Company submits herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating License DPR-67.

The proposed amendment is described below and shown on the accompanying Technical Specification pages.

The purpose of this amendment is to revise the Linear Heat Rate Technical Specification prior to the restart of the unit following the upcoming refueling outage.

Fi ure 4'-1 This figure has been removed from Technical Specification 3.2.1.

Additional information on this change may be found in the attached Safety Evaluation.

Additionally, a note has been added relating to performance of the incore detector monitoring system.

We have determined that this is a Class III amendment in accordance with 10 CFR 170.22.
