Release of Existin Desi ns 1.
Discussed the release of existing designs to the Task Force for com-parison with independent designs.
In accordance with EVP procedure,
'he Review Committee will first look at the independent design package for each item and determine its degree of completeness-before granting approval for release of the existing design.for that item.
This step is intended,to preclude the possibility of premature release of exist-ing design documents to the Task Force.
2.
Mr Christian will determine availability of t'e individual Review Com-mittee members'o meet as a group within the next two-week period for purpose of reviewing the two independent design packages scheduled to be completed first (Safety Injection Tank Isolation Valve by C-E,Task
- Force, and Hydrogen Recombiner by Ebasco Task Force).
3.
In order to minimize the waiting time for turnover, of existing designs to Task Force from Project Team following Review Committee authoriza-tion to release, it was agreed, that the Project Teams should be re-quested to start assembling, but holding in readiness, the existing, documents for the various verification items.
