Docket No. 50-335 Loss of. AC Power In your letter dated Narch 25, 1982, you requested Florida Power 8 Light to describe the traini ng programs and procedures for station operation duri ng a
total loss of AC power.
We have issued Emergency Operating Procedur e 1-0030143 (TOTAL LOSS OF AC POWER) and it is attached.
Our training program for operating personnel, licensing trainees and licensed operators is based on this procedure and consists of the folllowing items:
1.
Nuclear Plant Supervisors will present on-shi'ft discussions of the new procedure.
2.
Classroom instruction will be given to the group pr esently training on the differences between St. Lucie Units 1 and 2.
3.
Future licensing classes will have classroom discussions on this item.
The procedure di scussions include immediate operator actions and basis; subsequent/recovery actions and basis, and symptoms/indications.
We expect to complete the procedure discussions for operating personnel in September 1982.
