ENGINEERING VERIFICATION PROGRQf/SL-2 EBASCO TASK FORCE WEEKLY STATUS SRkfARY FOR PERIOD AUGUST 23 AUGUST 27,1982 Completed preparing, assessing, and adjusting the detailed workday estimates for six A/E verification items.
Completelinitial preparation of the related time-phased schedules for each verification item. Necessary adjustments are in progress to integrate the schedules, eliminate interface conflicts among the supporting disciplines, and at the same time maintain the order of item priority.
Verbal authorization was obtained from FPL to institute daily overtime during the coming period and to add additional, available qualified engineers, to help maintain schedule.
Requested design inputs were received complete re information request letter of August 13 and partially complete re the August 18 request letter.
Work progressed on performance of the independent design review phase of the program.
A meeting of the FPL, C-E and Ebasco EVP Task Force Managers was held on August 26,in Juno Beach, Florida.

SUMMARY
AUGUST 23 AUGUST 27, 1982 During the August 26 meeting of the EVP Task Force Mangers, improved methods were implemented for expediting the transmittal of design input,.information from the Project Team.

A design input package containing portions of the inital design input response was transmitted to.the task force on August 27, and is being reviewed for completeness.
3.
A review of codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicability to the two NSSS verification items is continuing.
