ENGINEERING VERIFICATION PROGRAM SL2 EBASCO TASK FORCE WEEKLY STATUS
SUMMARY
FOR PERIOD JULY 26 JULY 30, 1982 The following activities were underway during the period July 26 through July 30, 1982:
1 The last of nine discipline engineers assigned to the Task Force reported on July 26.
Five have leading roles and four will provide support as required during the design review phase of the program.
2 The Task Force 15th floor 2WTC working area accommodations were essentially completed.during the period.
3 Work continued on establishing design boundaries and planning the approach to be taken for verification of each specific item.
Receipt of the initially requested design inputs is needed and expected early next period.
4 A meeting of the FPL, C-E and Ebasco Task Force Managers and FPL Program Coordinator was held July 27 in Ebasco's offices.
Overall progress to date and the administrative procedures were reviewed.
New procedures were implemented for processing correspondence.

C-E ENGINEERING VERIFICATION TASK FORCE/St. Lucie 2 WEEKLY STATUS
SUMMARY
July 26-July 30 Hi hli hts 1.
The C-E Task Force established verification item design boundaries for the High Pressure Safety Injection Pump 2A and for the Safety Injection Tank Isola-tion Valve V-3614.
Sketches identifying the specific boundaries were prepared and sent to FP6L and Ebasco Task Force managers for information.
A request for initial design input for both items was forwarded through the FPGL EVP Task Force manager.
2.
Administrative procedures were finalized during a Task Force progress meeting held July 27 at Ebasco offices.
3.
Staffing of the C-E Engineering Verification Task Force continued during this report period.
Four (4) engineers have been assigned full time.
A secure document control center has been established within the Task Force work area.
Status Design planning has begun for each verification item, however, initiation of specific engineering design work hinges upon early receipt and confirmation of design inputs.
