~M MOTION OF FLORIDA POWER 6 LIGHT COMPANY FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO RESPOND TO CITIES'OTION ~~m On May 27, 1981, the Cities filed a "Motion To Establish Procedures, For A Declaration That A Situation Inconsistent With The Antitrust Laws Presently Exists And For Related Relief".

The text of the Cities filing is lengthy and it is accompanied by several hundred pages of attachments. Florida Power 6 Light Company (FPL) needs additional time to study this filing and to respond appropriately to it.

FPL respectfully requests that the Board extend time for Cities'otion until 4/

response to July 15, 1981. Counsel for the Cities and the NRC Staff have authorized counsel for FPL to represent. that they have no objection to granting of the extension requested here.

"/ It is possible that, before the expiration of this extended time, FPL may request a telephone'onference with the Board and other parties to discuss procedural matters.
