/

On February 14, 1961 Mr A-A Young and myself met with you and your staff to discuss our plans to provide a future training program for the Palisades ituclear Station personnel.

During our presentation you expressed a concern tha we don't have a mechan-

'sm in whsch our plant personnel are informed about problems in the industry.

Your example was the St Lucie incident XE Circu1ar 80-15.

/

At that meeting I explained that we do have such a mechanism and st is ex-plained in our Palisade Plant HUREC-0737 response da ed. December 19, 1980.

in regard to your specific exemple, one of our Shift 'Zechnical Advisors was requested to review our Emergency Operating Procedures as stated in item 2 of the subject 1E circular. Zt should, also be noted that the St Lucie incident was reviewed with our operators and shift supervisors, with documen-tation available at the plant site.

Wie oelieve tha the review mechanism that - as demonstrated above is acceptable and no further changes are needed for this proc ss.
