Dear Mr. Smith:
This letter is to request the withdrawal of my appearance on behalf of Florida Cities in the above-captioned proceeding.
Starting on or about May 1, 1980 I shall be employed by the United States
- Senate, as. Special Counsel for Subcommittee on Civil Services and General Services of the Committee on Governmental Affairs.
While it is expected that the employment as Special Counsel will be of limited duration, as provided by the Rules of the Senate I.will not. be affiliated with the law firm of Spieg el a McDiarmid during this period.
By this letter I therefore provide notice of, and request approval of, my immediate withdrawal as Counsel in the above cap-tioned proceeding.
Florida Cities will continue "to be represented by the law'irm of Spiegel
& McDiarmid.
