'DOCKET NO. 50-335 FLORIDA POWER 8 LIGHT COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U.
ST Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has isssued Amendment No.
33 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-67, issued to Florida Power and Light Company which amended the license for operation of the St. Lucie Plant, Unit No. 1, located in St. Lucie County, Florida.
This amendment will become effective twenty days after its date of issuance provided no hearing is requested.
The amendment adds license conditions relating to the completion of facility modifications and implementation of administrative controls for fire protection.
The licensee's filings comply with the standards and requir ments of the Atomic Energy Act of'954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's'ules and regulations.
The Commission had-made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of the amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of the amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 351. 5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of the amendment.
