gOV SO 1978 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Florida Power and Light Company License No. DPR-67 Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on October 16-20,
- 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in fu'll com-pliance with NRC requirements as indicated below.
These items have been categorized as described in our correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
These are infractions.
10 CFR 71.12 provides a general license for delivery of licensed material to a carrier for transport in a package for which a certificate of com-pliance has been issued and requires compliance with the conditions of the certificate.
Condition 5.b.2 of Certificate of Compliance No. 9113 specifies, maximum weight limitations of the secondary container and contents.
10 CFR 71.54 requires that, prior to each use of a package or cask for shipment, the licensee shall ascertain that the package with its contents meets the requirements of the license.
Contrary to 10 CFR 71.54, on August 29,
- 1978, the licensee delivered licensed material to a carrier for transport, in a package for which Certificate of Compliance No.
9113 had been issued without determining the weight of the secondary container or its contents, and the package was shipped from the site before this weight was determined.
This is an infraction.
