Dear Mr. Davis:
In the referenced transmittal, Conunonwealth Edison provided its response to the Report of the NRC Diagnostic.Evaluation Team (DET).
This response addressed the Major Findings and Specific Findings in a summary fashion.
As discussed in the transmittal letter, detailed responses to the DET Report observations would be written by February 15, 1988 and these responses would be available at Dresden Station for review by the NRC staff.
As of this date, detailed responses have been prepared for each of the numbered items in Section 2.2. of the DET Report (Specific Findings and Conclusions).
The responses have been grouped by those areas given in
~ection 2.2., covering Operations, Maintenance, Testing, Operator Training, QUality Programs, Radiation Chemistry, and Management overview.
Tne information given in Section 3 of the DET Report (Detailed Evaluation Results) was used to formulate and develop the above responses.
The Dresden Station Superintendent of Performance Improvement is the cognizant Station individual regarding the DET Report responses, and he is the custodian of the detailed responses to Section 2.2. of the DET Report.
