NRC Notification to the State of Florida Regarding St. Lucie License Amendments - Relocate Radiation Monitor Requirements and Update Unit 2 Radiation Monitor Range Good Morning Ms. Becker, As a follow-up to my phone message this morning, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is about to issue license amendments for the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, Units 1 & 2. In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.91(b), I am notifying you of the proposed issuance of these amendments.

Please reply if the State of Florida has comments on the following licensing action submitted to the NRC by Florida Power & Light Company, et al. (the licensee): License Amendment Request Radiation Monitor Changes dated September 16, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)

Accession No. ML16271A181).

The associated proposed no significant hazards consideration for this amendment request was published in the Federal Register on December 6, 2016 (81 FR 87972).
