801 WARRENVILLE ROAD LISLE, ILLINOIS 60532-4351 July 8,. 1999 This letter refers to an investigation conducted by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC),
Region Ill (Riii), Office of Investigations (01), to determine whether an Employee of Utility Resources, Incorporated (URI), contracted to the Dresden Nuclear Power Plant, was deliberately discriminated against by having his employment terminated by.a URI foreman for writing a Problem Identification Form (PIF) regarding an alleged violation of a Dresden Administrative Procedure (OAP) by the foreman The NRC has completed its investigation into these matters. The NRC's investigation determined that Ol:Rlll could not substantiate the allegation that an employee of URI, contracted to Dresden, was deliberately discriminated against by having his employment terminated by a URI° foreman for writing a PIF regarding an alleged violation of the OAP by the foreman. A copy of the Ol:Rlll report synopsis is enclosed. This concludes the NRC's investigation into this matter.
