EXAMINATION REPORT (INSPECTION REPORTS NO. 50-237/0L-95-0l; NO. 50-249/0L-95-0l)
Dear Mr. Joyce:
During the week February 13, 1995, Mr. E._ Plettner of this office administered initial license examinations to employees of your organization who 6p~~~t~ and handle fuel at your Dresden Units 2 and 3 Nuclear Power Station.
At the conclusion of the examinations preliminary findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Two non licensed candidates were given retakes exams for the written portion of the Reactor Operator (RO) examination.
One non licensed candidate was given a Limited Senior Reactor Operator (LSRO) exam.
Both RO candidates*
passed the written section of their examination.
Both were issued their license.
The LSRO candidate passed his written exam.
The LSRO was scheduled to complete the operating portion of the exam during the week of March 20, 1995.
On March 16, 1995, the NRC received your letter 95-0031 dated March 13, 1995, withdrawing the application of the LSRO candidate.
Your request was granted on March 20, 1995.
No training weaknesses were noted in the individuals who passed the written exams.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
