ORDERS PROHIBITING INVOLVEMENT IN NRC-LICENSED ACTIVITIES (EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY)
This is
- to inform the Commission that, in accordance with Commission approval, Orders Prohibiting the Involvement in NRC-Licensed Activities will be issued tomorrow to Messrs. David Tang Wee, Kenneth G. Pierce, and Sean G. Miller.
This is based on actions taken by these individuals during and following a rod mispositioning event at Dresden on September 18, 1992, while they were employed as the Station Control Room Engineer, Nuclear Station Operator, and Qualified Nuclear Engineer, respectivelyi at Dresden Nuclear Station.
Their ~ctions included an attempt to conceal the occurence of the event.
It should be noted that the individuals have not been specifically informed of these enforcement actions.
The schedule of issuance and notification is:
Issuance of Orders Telephone Notification of Individuals The State of Illinois will be notified.
April 21, 1994 April 21, 1994 The individuals have thirty days from the date of the Orders in which to respond.
