REVIEW OF REVISION 78 TO THE GENERATING STATIONS EMERGENCY PLAN

  • On August 24, 1993, Regio~ *111 received Revision 78 to the Generating Stati6ns Emergency Plan.

We have reviewed Revision 78 and have determined that it is acceptable and that it does not degrade the effectiveness of your emergency planning.

Revision 78 indicated that the corporate emergency operations facility {CEOF),

located *in Downers Grove, Illinois, has replaced a facility in Chicago, Illinois as the location of the Zion Station's backup EOF.

This relocatio~

was approved by NRC in July 1993.

Revision 78 provided updated information on

.the communications equipment in the CEOF.

The revision also contained updated information on the senior managers responsible for maintaining your emergency preparedness program.
