SUMMARY
OF AUGUST 17, 1993 On August 17, 1993, representatives of Commonwealth Edison Company (CECo) met with members of the NRC staff at NRC headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, to discuss security-related issues and proposed modifications to the security plans for the above listed facilities.
The list of attendees is enclosed.
The licensee discussed options under consideration that would streamline the current physical security programs.
Such options would provide greater efficiency which would result in significant cost savings without reducing the effectiveness of the current physical security programs.
Details of the individual proposals and the handouts presented during the meeting were all designated as Safeguards Information.
The staff took the proposals under consideration and agreed to respond to the licensee aft~r consulting with Region III security personnel.
