U.S. Department of Homeland Security One Independence Mall, Sixth Floor 615 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19106-4404 FEMA ED-zgq Enclosed is the After Action Report/Improvement Plan for the Three Mile Island (TMI) Nuclear Generating Station Plume Exercise for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that was held on April 11, 2017.

There were no Level 1 Findings, one Level 2 Finding, and two Planning Issues identified during the exercise. The Level 2 Finding; Issue No: 64-17-3al-L2-0l was successfully be re-demonstrated on April 11, 2017 during the exercise. In addition, there were no outstanding Performance or Planning Issues from previous exercises.

Based on the results of the exercise and a review of the offsite radiological emergency response plans and procedures submitted, FEMA Region III has determined they are adequate (meet the planning and preparedness standards ofNUREG-0654/FEMA-REP-1, Revision 1, November 1980, as referenced in 44 CFR 350.5) and there is reasonable assurance they can be implemented, as demonstrated during this exercise.
