This refers to the special inspection conducted by
Mr. J. F. Schapker and. others of this office and members of the
Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation on June 22~25, 1992.
The
inspection included a review of activities for your Dresden
Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3.
The focus of this
inspection was your erosion/corrosion inspection efforts.
At the
conclusion of the insp~ction, the findings were discussed with
those members of. your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the
report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures, representative records, and
interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the
course of this inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations,
a copy of*this .letter and the enclosed inspection report will be
placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
