JUN 0 8 2017 U.S. Department of Homeland Security Region V 536 South Clark Street, Floor 7 Chicago, lllinois 60605 FEMA The State of Michigan has requested Federal participation at the D.C. Cook Nuclear Plant Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Exercise scheduled for June 4 and 5, 2019. The REP exercise will be both a plume phase and ingestion pathway exercise with full participation from the State of Michigan and Berrien County.
We are requesting the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission-Rill to provide a Federal Advisory Team member to participate in the June 2019 exercise. The Federal Advisory Team members would interact with and support various exercise operations, including the analysis and interpretation of radiological data.
