Dear Mr. Reed:

JUN!., 1991

This refers to the routine Fitness-for-Duty inspection conducted by

Ms. G. M. Christoffer and Messrs. J. L. Belanger, J. R. Kniceley and

T. J. Madeda of this office between June 11-13, 1991, of activities at your

Corporate Office and at the Braidwood Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2,

authorized by NRC Operating Licenses No. NPF-72 and NPF-77; Dresden Nuclear

Power Station, Units 2 and 3, authorized by NRC Operating Licenses No. NPR-19

and DPR-25; LaSalle Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2, authorized by NRC

Operating Licenses No. NPF-11 and NPF-18; and Zion Nuclear Power Station,

Units 1 and 2, authorized by NRC Operating Licenses No. DPR-39 and DPR-48, and

to the discussion of our inspection findings with Mr. G. Toleski and other

members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during

the inspection.

Within th~se areas, the inspection consisted of a selective

examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and

interviews with personnel.

This was an examination of the implementation of

your fitness for duty program at four separate facilities. A single review of

your Corporate level activities was done to eliminate unnecessary redundant

reviews.

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this

inspection.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of

this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC

Public Document Room.

We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
