Dresden Station, Units 1 & 2 November 9, 1979 Submittal of Site Specific Design Spectra NRC Docket No. 50-10/23'7.*

Dear Mr. O'Connor:

In response to your request concerning the Systematic Evaluation Program topic on Geology and Seismology, Commonwealth Edison is submitting the attached site-specific design spectra report prepared by Fugro for the Dresden site.

Commonwealth Edison believes the spectra selected in the report should be the basis for determining the seismic qualifications of the Dresden structures and equipment.

Commonwealth Edison proposed to ini-tiate developement of our seismic review program of Dresden 1 structures and piping and the equipment qualification for both units after we have received your approval for use of the proposed spectra.

One signed original and 39 copies of this transmittal have been provided for your review.

If you have any questions, please contact this office.

Yours truly,

~~
