Dear Sir or Madam:

By letter dated May 1, 2017 (Reference 1), Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. proposed an amendment to the Renewed Facility Operating License for Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VY). The prosed amendment would revise the VY Cyber Security Plan Milestone 8 implementation date.

This letter supplements the referenced amendment request by correcting the concluding statement in the response to the second question of the no significant hazards consideration determination as contained in Section 4.2, on page 9 of 11 to Attachment 1. The final sentence is revised to read:

Therefore the proposed change does not create the possibility of a new or different kind of accident from any accident previously evaluated.

VY affirms that the remainder of the no significant hazards consideration determination and the environmental considerations contained in Reference 1 are not affected by, and remain applicable to, this supplement.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact Mr. Coley Chappell at (802) 451-3374.
