OPERATOR INITIALEXAMINATIONREPORT NOS. 50-387/99-301 AND
50-388/99-301
Dear Mr. Byram:
This report'transmits the results of the subject operator licensing examinatioris conducted by the
NRC during the period of May 10 - 13, 1999 at your facility. These examinations addressed
areas important to public health and safety and were developed and administered using the
guidelines of NUREG-1021, interim Revision 8, "Examination Standards for Power Reactors".
Based on the results of the examinations, 3 of 5 Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) applicants
passed all portions of the examinations.
The findings and performance conclusions as'a result
of the examinations were discussed by Mr. L Briggs and me with Mr. H. Palmer and others of
your staff via telephone conference call on June 3, 1999.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosures willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
