SUSQUEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNITS 1 AND2-WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENTREQUEST (TAC NOS. M97169 AND M97170)
Dear Mr. Byram:
By letters dated October 7, 1996, and March 27, 1997, you applied for an amendment to the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, Operating Licenses Nos. NPF-14 and NPF-22. The proposed change would have modified the facilitytechnical specifications pertaining to the hydrogen isolation function of the hydrogen monitor channel.
Subsequently, by letter dated May 22, 1998, you withdrew the amendment request since it had been superseded by an amendment request for "Main Steam Line Radiation Monitor Setpoint Change and Change to Radioactive Gaseous Effluent Monitoring System," dated March 16, 1998.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above cited October 7, 1996, and March 27, 1997, applications are being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the jeede a ikeeLset.
